Accountability & transparency

We are accountable to the legislature, the governor, and the people of Washington. Our methods of accountability include: The work we do to support the state goals for sustainable energy and a clean environment. Our reports to the legislature. Tracking our permit timeliness. Prompt responses to audit recommendations. Measuring budget activity performance. We survey our permitted and inspected customers to help us identify ways to improve our services. Current results are from 2014. We expect our 2016 survey results to be available in summer 2017. We fulfill public records requests to provide transparency around the work we do.
