LQGs and MQGs must register for RCRAInfo
EPA has issued their final Third Rule, which integrates the e-Manifest system with exports and other manifest-related reports. Effective Jan. 22, 2025, large and medium quantity generators (LQGs and MQGs) must register for RCRAInfo to access the e-Manifest system to obtain their final signed manifest copies.
Businesses that generate dangerous waste are required to keep records about their waste. Your generator category determines the type of records and length of time you must keep them:
- Medium quantity generators (MQGs) and large quantity generators (LQGs) must keep records, typically for five years.
- Small quantity generators (SQGs) have less requirements but are encouraged to keep records in the same manner as MQGs and LQGs.
