LQGs and MQGs must register for RCRAInfo

EPA has issued their final Third Rule, which integrates the e-Manifest system with exports and other manifest-related reports. Effective Jan. 22, 2025, large and medium quantity generators (LQGs and MQGs) must register for RCRAInfo to access the e-Manifest system to obtain their final signed manifest copies.

Businesses that generate dangerous waste may be required to submit certain dangerous waste reports.

In some instances, you may also be required to pay certain dangerous waste fees.


Notification of dangerous waste activities

Businesses may need to notify us of dangerous waste activities, such as:

Businesses must have an EPA/State ID Number to submit notifications. These numbers can be created, reactivated or withdrawn.

Dangerous waste annual report

The dangerous waste annual report is a combination of required forms and other documents that summarize a business’s dangerous waste activities in Washington. All sites with an active EPA/State ID Number must submit a dangerous waste annual report.

Pollution prevention (P2) plan

Some businesses are required to submit a pollution prevention (P2) plan to reduce hazardous substance use and dangerous waste. If your business is required to submit a plan, we will contact you.
