Facility information

This facility makes high purity hydrogen from steam and natural gas. It produces:

• About 7,000 tons of hydrogen each year.
• 26,800 tons of steam each year.

The Shell Puget Sound oil refinery uses these products in its processes. Matheson Tri-Gas sends its wastewater to the refinery for treatment. The refinery then sends the treated wastewater to Fidalgo Bay.
