Pacific Functional Fluids
We regulate wastewater and hazardous waste activities at the Pacific Functional Fluids facility in Tacoma, and also oversee cleanup work for contamination from the former Lilyblad Petroleum facility on the same site.
Facility information
Pacific Functional Fluids blends, stores, repackages and sends out petroleum and chemical products. These include:
- Automotive and industrial lubricants.
- Transmission and hydraulic fluids.
- Diesel.
- Biodiesel.
- De-icing fluids.
The facility does not create any wastewater. It treats stormwater and sometimes boiler blowdown, and sends it to Blair Waterway and Commencement Bay as needed.
Permit information
The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency regulates the plant's air quality activities. Visit the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency website or call 206-343-8800 for more information.
