We regulate the water and hazardous waste activities at the Solvay chemical plant in Longview.
Facility information
This facility makes hydrogen peroxide. It currently sends (discharges) wastewater to the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater treatment plant and Nippon Dynawave pulp and paper mill for treatment. Both Nippon and the regional wastewater treatment plant discharge to the Columbia River. It also discharges a portion of its wastewater through a new outfall to Longview's Consolidated Diking Improvement District No. 1 Ditch #5.
